Strategy Development and Quality Coordination

Our University’s Office of Quality and Strategy is a central unit that coordinates quality assurance, strategic planning and performance management processes with the aim of supporting institutional development through a sustainable approach. The Directorate carries out activities to ensure that teaching and learning, research, and community engagement activities are conducted in accordance with national and international quality standards, to monitor the effective implementation of strategic objectives, and to provide data-driven input into institutional decision-making processes. In this regard, it contributes to the development of a quality-focused management approach within the university’s academic and administrative processes by fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Message from the Head of Department

As the Quality and Strategy Directorate of our university, our primary objective is to contribute to the conduct of our institution’s educational, research and community engagement activities in a manner that is planned, measurable and focused on continuous improvement. In line with this, we are continuing our efforts to strengthen the quality assurance system, ensure the effective implementation of strategic plan objectives and regularly monitor institutional performance. Working in collaboration with all academic and administrative units of our university, and based on a participatory management approach, we aim to make a culture of quality an integral part of our institutional structure. By adopting a continuous improvement approach, we are committed to contributing to our university’s strong, innovative and sustainable development at both national and international levels.

About Us

The Quality and Strategy Directorate is a coordinating unit that operates to support the institutional development of our university, strengthen the quality assurance system, and ensure the effective implementation of strategic objectives. Our Directorate oversees strategic planning, performance management, and institutional monitoring and evaluation processes, contributing to the development of the university’s teaching and learning, research, and community engagement activities in line with national and international quality standards.

The work carried out within the Directorate aims to support data-driven decision-making processes, ensure the effective and efficient use of institutional resources, and contribute to the establishment of a sustainable quality culture across the university. In this context, efforts are undertaken in collaboration with academic and administrative units to plan, implement, monitor and continuously improve quality assurance processes.

Coordination of Strategic Planning Processes

To carry out preparatory work for the strategic plan in line with the university’s mission, vision and strategic objectives, to coordinate the implementation of the plan, and to carry out monitoring and evaluation activities.

Corporate Performance Management

To contribute to the university management’s decision-making processes by monitoring, analysing and reporting on the performance indicators identified within the strategic plan.

Development of the Quality Assurance System

To plan and coordinate the processes involved in establishing, implementing and continuously improving the university-wide quality assurance system.

Internal Corporate Assessment and Reporting

To coordinate the preparation of reports relating to quality processes, in particular the Annual Corporate Internal Assessment Report, and to ensure that these are submitted to the relevant bodies.

Corporate Monitoring and Evaluation Activities

To monitor the effectiveness of the university’s teaching, research and community engagement activities, and to carry out evaluation studies that support its institutional development.

Data Management and Analysis Projects

To support a data-driven management approach by ensuring the collection, analysis and reporting of data relating to key performance indicators.

Accreditation and External Evaluation Processes

To coordinate preparatory work for national and international quality assessment, accreditation and institutional external evaluation processes.

Promotion of a Quality Culture

To organise information, training and awareness-raising activities with the aim of developing quality awareness across the university.

Ensuring Inter-departmental Coordination

To ensure coordination between academic and administrative units in quality and strategic management processes and to support the effective implementation of these processes.

Supporting Continuous Improvement Activities

To develop feedback mechanisms and encourage continuous improvement initiatives with the aim of enhancing the effectiveness of institutional processes.
