
General Information
The Department of Civil Engineering is a comprehensive engineering program that provides knowledge and skills in core areas such as structural, soil, transportation, water resources and environmental engineering.
The program supports the theoretical courses with technical training such as laboratory studies, field applications and computer-aided design, and provides students with analytical thinking and problem solving competencies. Students have the opportunity to gain professional experience through applied projects and internships.
Aim of the Department
It is aimed to train civil engineers who are committed to scientific and ethical values, have environmental and social responsibility, and can produce creative and innovative solutions. In addition, it is aimed to train engineers who can plan, implement and manage infrastructure and superstructure projects.
Graduate Profile
Civil Engineering graduates can work in public institutions, private construction companies, engineering and consulting companies, construction sites and project offices. They can work in different fields such as bridges, buildings, roads, dams, infrastructure and landscaping.
