
General Information
The Department of Nursing offers an education focused on protecting, developing and maintaining individual, family and community health.
The department educates professional nurses who have professional ethical values, have leadership competence, are compatible with teamwork, can think critically and are open to lifelong learning.
Theoretical education is supported by care mannequins and system models; clinical laboratory equipment is kept up-to-date. Students gain professional experience by doing internships in various health institutions and community health centers.
Aim of the Department
The department aims to contribute to the development of individual and social health by training nurses who are sensitive to health problems, work autonomously and have a sense of social responsibility.
Graduate Profile
Graduates of the Department of Nursing can work as clinical nurses, executive nurses, educational nurses, supervisors and specialty nurses at home and abroad; they can also pursue academic careers in special fields such as tourism health, workplace health, prison health and in universities.
