Scholarships

Students who rank among the top 1,000 in any score category in the University Entrance Exams administered annually by the Measurement, Selection, and Placement Center of the Council of Higher Education of the Republic of Turkey and who are admitted to one of the programs at Cyprus Aydın University are awarded a 100% scholarship.

Students who rank among the top 100,000 in any score category in the University Entrance Exams organized annually by the Measurement, Selection, and Placement Center of the Turkish Higher Education Council are awarded a 75% + 10% scholarship.

Merit-Based Scholarship

As a result of the Higher Education Institutions Examination administered by ÖSYM, prospective students who list any of our programs with a 50% discount as their first choice for the 2024-2025 academic year will be eligible for a preference scholarship offering a 75% discount, as determined by our university senate. For students studying with an ÖSYM scholarship, the scholarships remain valid throughout the duration of their education, subject to the conditions specified in the relevant scholarship regulations.

Scholarship for Children of Martyrs and Disabled Veterans

Children of individuals recognized as martyrs or disabled veterans under the laws of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) and the Republic of Turkey who have been admitted to Cyprus Aydın University are eligible for a scholarship covering 75% of their associate’s and bachelor’s degree tuition fees. The scholarship duration covers the standard length of study for all programs, including one year of preparatory classes.

Scholarship for Students with Disabilities

Each year, 10 students with disabilities who are citizens of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) or the Republic of Turkey are awarded scholarships covering tuition fees for undergraduate and associate degree programs, provided they meet the admission requirements of Cyprus Aydın University. The scholarship period covers the standard duration of study for all programs, including one year of preparatory classes, and the scholarship rate is 75%.

Transfer Scholarship

Students who transfer to programs at Cyprus Aydin University through lateral transfer, provided they meet the necessary requirements in accordance with the relevant regulations, are eligible for tuition discounts ranging from 50% to 100%.

Special Partner Institution Discount (Within the TRNC)

Discounts are applied to tuition fees for staff members of institutions with which special agreements have been made, who have been admitted to or are currently enrolled at Cyprus Aydin University, in accordance with the terms of those agreements.

TRNC High School First, Second, and Third Place Scholarships

Cyprus Aydin University is accepting applications from TRNC citizens who have graduated from a TRNC high school or equivalent institution with a “Excellent” grade, as well as Turkish citizens who have completed high school without interruption in the TRNC, provided they are eligible to enroll in any of the university’s “four-year” undergraduate programs;

  • A tuition scholarship of 100%
  • A tuition scholarship of 95%
  • A tuition scholarship of 90%
  • is awarded to students who rank first, second, and third in high school, respectively.

Honor and High Honor Scholarships

Students who have completed at least two semesters in their enrolled programs, have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.50, and have demonstrated outstanding academic achievement at the “High Honors” level are eligible for scholarships of up to 75%; Students with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00 and who have demonstrated outstanding academic achievement at the “Honors” level are eligible for scholarships of up to 50%, subject to the availability of allocated quotas.

Sibling Discount

A 50% discount on tuition is offered to each sibling enrolled at Cyprus Aydin University, and a 75% discount is offered to the third sibling. These discounts cannot be combined with any other discounts or scholarships.

Partner Institution Discount

Students from partner institutions are eligible for a discount under the terms of the agreement with the relevant institution, provided they meet the necessary requirements.

Scholarship for High-Achieving Athletes

This scholarship is awarded to athletes who have achieved first place, either individually or as part of a team, in tournaments where they represented Cyprus Aydin University at a sporting event approved by the University Board of Trustees; who are actively participating in sports at one of the Cyprus Aydin University Sports Clubs; and who have been selected for their national team in their respective disciplines, provided they maintain an active and successful athletic career at our university. The scholarship covers tuition fees. The scope, duration, and conditions of the scholarship are determined by the University Board of Directors and approved by the Board of Trustees.

Note: For students eligible for more than one scholarship or discount at the same time, the scholarship or discount with the highest rate will be applied.
