The Cyprus Aydın University (CAU) Alumni and Members Centre was established to sustain a meaningful and lasting connection between our graduates and the university’s academic and administrative community. The Centre pursues two complementary objectives: supporting the professional and social development of our alumni, and channelling their accumulated knowledge and experience back into the university community.
We believe that graduation marks not an ending but a new beginning. With this conviction, we are committed to building a permanent network through which our alumni remain connected to one another and to the institution — through events, mentoring, and collaborative initiatives that carry real value.

Graduation is not the end of a relationship — it is a transformation of one. At Cyprus Aydın University, we view the bond between the institution and its graduates not as something that closes with a diploma ceremony, but as a connection that continues to evolve and deepen over time.
Our alumni are today making significant contributions across a wide range of fields — from healthcare and law to engineering and education. Their experiences constitute our most valuable source of institutional feedback and serve as the most authentic career guidance available to our current students.
The CAU Alumni and Members Centre was founded precisely to make this exchange of knowledge systematic and sustainable. Our aim is to build a closer, more structured relationship with you — one defined by mutual contribution rather than occasional contact.

About Us
The Alumni and Members Centre operates as a data-driven, community-centred structure dedicated to connecting CAU graduates and members with one another and with the institution. The activities conducted under this framework are designed to ensure that relationships with our alumni endure well beyond graduation and that graduates remain active participants in the life of the university.
The Centre was established with three core commitments: to maintain an accurate and up-to-date alumni database, to create regular and meaningful points of contact between the university and its graduates, and to render the alumni’s contribution to the institution sustainable over the long term.
In addition, the Centre supports the planning of activities that expand alumni access to career development opportunities, and contributes to the establishment and strengthening of professional networks among graduates through collaborative initiatives.
Mission
The mission of Cyprus Aydın University is to establish a lifelong, data-informed, and community-centred network among its graduates and members; and to transform the bond between the university and its alumni into a sustainable institutional value through events, collaborative projects, and partnerships that actively support professional and academic development.
Vision
The vision of the CAU Alumni and Members Centre is to build a cohesive and internationally recognised alumni community — one whose members are strongly connected both to one another and to the institution — and to develop a structure in which the collective experience of graduates makes a continuous and meaningful contribution to the university’s academic and institutional growth.
Services
The Cyprus Aydin University Alumni and Members Association offers various services aimed at strengthening the bond between alumni and the university and supporting the professional and social development of alumni. The primary services provided by the center are listed below:
· Creating and updating an alumni database to ensure ongoing communication between the university and its alumni
· Developing platforms to establish a strong network of communication and solidarity among alumni
· Organizing seminars, conferences, workshops, and career events to support alumni in their career development
· Organizing mentorship programs and career discussions to encourage the sharing of experiences between alumni and students
· Conducting initiatives to inform alumni about job and internship opportunities in various sectors
· Organizing alumni reunions, social events, and networking activities
· Carrying out promotional and communication activities to highlight alumni’s academic, professional, and social achievements
· Collecting and evaluating alumni feedback to contribute to the university’s development
· Developing and supporting collaboration projects between the university and alumni
· Encouraging alumni to actively participate in the university’s academic and social activities
Through these services, the aim is to strengthen alumni ties with the university, establish a robust communication network among alumni, and support alumni’s professional development processes.
News and Announcements
Financial Talks Event Held
The “Financial Conversations” event, organized by the Alumni and Members Association, was held with the participation of Assistant Professor Dr. Erinç Bayri. The event, held on December 16, 2025, in the Conference Hall, featured discussions on financial literacy, the economy, and current financial developments.
Success and Adaptation: Alumni Student Experiences
The Alumni and Members Association of the Faculty of Educational Sciences at Cyprus Aydın University organized a webinar titled “Success and Adaptation: Alumni Experiences.” Held on October 31, 2025, the event featured alumni sharing their experiences regarding their post-university career paths. The session addressed topics such as alumni’s professional development processes and their adaptation to the workforce.
Seminar on Effective Visual Presentation Techniques
The seminar titled “Effective Visual Communication Techniques,” organized by the Cyprus Aydın University Alumni and Members Association, was presented by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ayşegül Deniz Yamaçoba. Held on December 12, 2025, at the Rauf R. Denktaş Conference Hall, the event featured important insights on visual communication and effective presentation techniques.
Beyond the Diploma: Your Rights as a Law Graduate
The event titled “Beyond the Diploma: Are You Aware of Your Rights as a Law Graduate?”, organized by the Cyprus Aydın University Alumni and Members Association, was held with the participation of Dr. Altay İlhan Aktürk. The event, held on December 24, 2025, addressed the professional rights and career opportunities of law graduates.
