Welcome to the Renewable Energy Application, Research and Project Center of Cyprus Aydin University. In today’s world, the transition to sustainable and clean energy systems is a global necessity. Our Center is dedicated to advancing renewable energy, energy efficiency, and environmental sustainability. We, aim to create an interdisciplinary environment for research, innovation, and practical applications. Our focus is to transform knowledge into real-world solutions that address energy challenges. We actively support students and researchers in their academic and professional development. At the same time, we collaborate with industry and public institutions on applied projects. My experience in renewable energy systems, energy storage, and solar technologies shapes our vision. We strongly believe in bridging the gap between theory and practice.
The Center promotes innovation-driven, project-based learning and research. We strive to develop impactful and sustainable energy solutions.
About US
As the Renewable Energy Application, Research and Project Center of Cyprus Aydın University, we aim to contribute to scientific research, technological development, and practical implementation in the field of sustainable energy. Our Center is established to support the production, application, and dissemination of knowledge in renewable energy systems, energy efficiency, energy storage, and environmentally responsible technologies. The Center is designed to combine research, education, consultancy, and project development under one structure.
Our Center seeks to create a collaborative ecosystem that brings together academia, industry, public institutions, and society. In this context, we support applied research in areas such as solar and wind energy, bioenergy, smart grids, energy storage, building energy performance, energy policy, and the energy-environment nexus. We also aim to transform scientific output into real-world impact through projects, technical services, training programs, awareness activities, and strategic partnerships.

The vision of center is to become a cutting-edge, innovative, and reputable research and application center that leads in sustainability, energy efficiency, and renewable energy; creates significant projects at the national and international levels; enhances university-industry-public collaboration; and helps create a cleaner, more resilient, and sustainable future.

Dr. Muhammad Asif Rabbani Publishes Study on Energy Storage Integration in Renewable Energy Systems
Assistant Professor Muhammad Asif Rabbani has published a 2026 study titled “Supercapacitor and battery energy storage systems integrated renewable energy sources – A minireview” in the Journal of Energy Storage, highlighting advancements in energy storage for renewable systems. The work has also been indexed in the NASA Astrophysics Data System, increasing its global visibility and academic impact. This recognition reflects the growing contribution of Cyprus Aydın University researchers to sustainability and renewable energy research.
Seminar on Renewable Energies in the Building Sector
Seminar was held on Renewable Energies in the Building Sector and professional expert Engr. Mr. Khurram Malik, Head of MEP Department, Al Diyar Group of Companies, UAE shared valuable knowledge of implementation of renewable energy technologies in building projects across Middle East.
Call for Collaboration with Industry and Public Institutions
The Renewable Energy Application, Research and Project Center welcomes collaboration proposals from industry, municipalities, professional organizations, and public institutions for joint projects, technical consultancy, and applied research in renewable energy and energy efficiency.
