Message from the Head of Department

Dear Students,
In today’s rapidly changing world, health remains a fundamental value for every individual. The nursing profession, which undertakes vital responsibilities such as protecting, comforting, healing, providing care, and educating people, will continue to be an indispensable element of healthcare systems, both today and in the future.
At Cyprus Aydın University’s English Nursing Program, we offer education with a strong and unique vision that aims to train qualified, compassionate, and globally competent nurses. Nursing is a universal profession that accompanies individuals from birth to the end of life; it is based on the belief that every human being, regardless of language, religion, or race, deserves dignity, care, and respect. In this regard, we view nursing not merely as a diploma process, but as a lifelong learning journey guided by science, fueled by inquiry, and continuous development.
The core mission of our program is to cultivate healthcare professionals equipped with professional knowledge and skills, as well as individuals who uphold ethical values, lead with empathy, communicate effectively, and possess a strong sense of social responsibility. Our continuously evolving English-language Nursing Program aims to equip its graduates with the competence to work in international healthcare settings and pursue careers at a global level.
Under the guidance of our experienced, dynamic, and dedicated academic staff, we offer a contemporary educational approach that integrates scientific knowledge, practice, and innovation. Our graduates are trained to be individuals ready to work in hospitals, community health centers, schools, home care services, research institutions, industry, and education. Graduates who wish to do so can continue their postgraduate studies and pursue careers as specialist nurses or academics.
It all begins with loving a person. We are immensely proud and delighted to have you among us as you embark on this honorable profession and to be by your side on this meaningful journey.
