As part of Nursing Week, the event titled “Our Nurses, Our Future” was held with broad participation ranging from students and academics to healthcare professionals. Throughout the event, the critical role of the nursing profession in public health was addressed through various activities, while valuable contributions were made to support the professional development of future nurse candidates.

The program featured student experiences, conferences delivered by experts in the field, and a nursing exhibition, all of which attracted significant interest from participants. At our event, guest speaker Güliz Akıner Başaraner, Head Nurse of Girne Dr. Akçiçek Hospital, shared her knowledge and experience through her presentation titled “Leadership in Nursing.” She provided valuable insights into leadership in nursing, professional responsibility, and the importance of team management in healthcare services.
