The Office of Financial Affairs provides services in Building B through its General Accounting, Student Accounting, and Finance sub-units.
It is responsible for all financial transactions of students, maintaining documents and records related to income and expenses, invoicing, financial tracking of academic projects, and preparing budgets, balance sheets, and income reports to ensure the proper use of resources.
It works with experts in the field to advance service quality and perform its duties effectively.
Director’s Message
As the Directorate of Financial Affairs at Cyprus Aydın University, our primary goal is to ensure that the university’s financial resources are managed in accordance with the principles of transparency, efficiency, and effectiveness; to ensure that financial processes are carried out in compliance with relevant legislation; and to continuously improve the quality of services provided.

The Directorate of Financial Affairs, together with its sub-units of General Accounting, Student Accounting, and Finance, operates in Building B. Our Directorate is responsible for ensuring that the university’s financial structure is managed effectively, transparently, and in compliance with relevant legislation.

Services
General Accounting
Our General Accounting unit records all financial and monetary transactions in full, in accordance with the provisions of the legislation in force, to ensure that our university’s tax obligations are fulfilled correctly. Accounting data enabling the monitoring, measurement, and evaluation of the institution’s financial and monetary structure is generated regularly.
Process analyses are conducted to enable management to analyze actual income and expenses in a sound manner and to effectively carry out financial planning for the future; comprehensive and regular reports are provided within the scope of management accounting through financial analysis. In addition, financial and fiscal control and audit activities are carried out meticulously to protect university assets.
Student Accounting
Our Student Accounting unit handles all financial transactions related to students, including the collection of tuition fees, new enrollment and re-enrollment procedures, as well as installment plans, scholarships, discounts, and refund processes. These transactions are conducted in accordance with Financial Legislation, Higher Education Legislation, and our university’s internal regulations; they are carried out in a manner that is compliant with the law, accurate, and reliable.

1. How are Horizontal Transfer Scholarships determined?
Horizontal Transfer Scholarships are determined and announced by our Administration at the beginning of each Academic year.
2. What are the conditions for freezing registration?
Students who wish to freeze their registration are required to make a preliminary application with a petition to the Student Affairs Department.
3. How are Merit Scholarships awarded?
Students with a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.5 and above are required to apply through the online application link that opens at the beginning of each semester. Scholarship applications are evaluated within the quotas determined by our Rectorate.
4. How can I find out about registration dates and payment conditions?
Registration renewal information for the relevant academic year is announced to our students through their personal student systems and the relevant Academic Year Calendar.
5. How many years is the scholarship validity period?
Scholarship durations are determined within the framework of our university’s scholarship regulations. In general, it is 4 years for Undergraduate, 2 years for Associate Degree, 2 years for Master’s Degree, and 4 years for Doctorate programs.
6. How are private scholarship applications made?
Applications for private scholarships granted by Cyprus Aydın University to students in need are made by submitting a petition.
7. Under what conditions is my scholarship terminated?
The scholarship may be terminated in case of disciplinary sanctions or academic failure.
