Events
Paramedics’ Day Event
On 29 December 2025, as part of Paramedics’ Week, an impressive event was organised by our students on the First Aid and Emergency Care Programme. The programme, which included both theoretical and practical sessions, featured case analyses and interventions performed through theatrical re-enactments. The vital role of paramedics in our lives was strongly emphasised.
Cyprus Health Aydın University’s Special Event for 19 May: Emergency Response Drill at the Ancient Kyrenia Harbour
Cyprus Health Aydın University’s School of Health Services organised a meaningful event as part of the 19 May Atatürk Commemoration, Youth and Sports Day. Under the guidance of Lecturer Selda Kalyoncu Demir, students from the First Aid and Emergency Care Programme carried out emergency response drills at the Ancient Kyrenia Harbour.
During the event, the students demonstrated the first aid techniques required in a potential emergency, both through theoretical knowledge and practical application. The drill, which attracted significant interest, caught the attention of both residents and tourists. Through practical exercises based on real-life scenarios, the students had the opportunity to put their theoretical knowledge into practice in the field.
This meaningful event garnered significant praise for both keeping the spirit of 19 May alive and raising awareness in the field of healthcare.
