Depending on the chosen course, this applies for two years for associate degree programmes and four years for bachelor’s degree programmes.
Yes. There is a 70% attendance requirement for theory-based modules and an 80% attendance requirement for practical modules. Students who do not meet this requirement will receive an ‘NA’ grade and will be deemed to have failed.
If you receive a grade such as FF, FD or NA, you must retake that course. If you wish, you may also retake courses in which you received a DD or DC in order to improve your grade. For students who receive a DC or DD grade in any course to be considered successful in that course, their overall grade point average must be at least 1.80 by the end of the second semester for undergraduate programmes, at least 1.85 by the end of the fourth semester, and at least 1.90 by the end of the sixth semester; for associate degree programmes, it must be at least 1.80 by the end of the second semester. If your average falls below these thresholds for the relevant semester, you must retake the course in which you passed with a ‘DD-DC’ grade.
If you do not pay your contribution fee/tuition fee and do not select your modules, your enrolment will not be renewed. If you are a Turkish citizen, your enrolment will be cancelled after you have completed 4 years of undergraduate study or 7 years of degree study (the maximum duration). If you are a student from the TRNC or an international student, your enrolment will be cancelled if you fail to renew your enrolment for 3 consecutive terms.
